The cabin is just a short walk to the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery of Gampo Abbey. Hikes right out the door can take you to daytrip or overnight wilderness destinations like Foxback Ridge, Pollets Cove, and Lowland Cove, or Book a boatride on Captain Mark's Whale and Seal Cruise. Hikes and sights in Cape Breton Highlands National Park and along the Cabot Trail are just a few miles up the road by car.
